AnkVeda ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the AnkVeda mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• →Email address — used for OTP-based authentication. We do not collect passwords.
• →Name and date of birth — entered by you for numerology calculations. This is the core input for all readings.
• →Usage analytics — anonymised data about features used, session duration, and in-app navigation, collected to improve the Service.
• →Push notification token — if you grant notification permission, we store your device token to send you app updates and reminders.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• ✗We do not collect credit cards, debit cards, or any payment instrument information. All payment processing (if applicable) is handled entirely by Google Play.
• ✗We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.
• ✗We do not collect government IDs, financial details, health information, or any sensitive personal data.

4. How We Use Your Data

• →To authenticate your account securely via email OTP.
• →To compute and display your numerology readings (name analysis, life path, compatibility, etc.).
• →To save your reading history so you can access it across sessions and devices.
• →To send transactional and feature-related push notifications (only if you grant permission).
• →To monitor app performance, identify bugs, and improve the user experience over time.

5. Data Storage

All user data is stored on Supabase, a secure, GDPR-compliant cloud database platform. Your data is:

• →Encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.
• →Protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) — your data can only be accessed by your authenticated account.
• →Stored on servers located within secure data centres. We do not store data on your device beyond standard app cache.

6. Third-Party Services

AnkVeda uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• →Supabase — database, authentication, and storage (supabase.com/privacy).
• →Expo / React Native — the framework powering the mobile app. May collect anonymised crash reports (docs.expo.dev/privacy).
• →Google Play — used for app distribution and payment processing (policies.google.com/privacy).

7. Content Disclaimer

AnkVeda provides numerology-based content for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. The insights, readings, and recommendations generated by the app:

• ✗Do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
• ✗Should not be used as the sole basis for major life decisions.
• ✗Do not predict guaranteed outcomes or future events.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older.

8. Children's Privacy

AnkVeda does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@ankveda.me and we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
